They opened the night up and this is what people said:

@rcjennings: Check out A classic education @9:30 #leespalace http://t.co/t6DgosM via @lastfm

Well I guess nobody really commented on the band.

British Sea Power
So onto British Sea Power and this is what people said:

@thegoldenyear: British Sea Power couldn't find any excellent foliage in the dead of winter; Lee's stage is barren. Not even a patch of peat moss.

@Richardsonian: British Sea Power - Apparently they're British. I should be in bed...

@scifiwasabi2: Watching British Sea Power in Toronto now!! They're awesum!!!!

@leerichardson: British sea power have just finished playing Remember Me One of the last decades best songs.

@cracktivity: British sea power sank my battleship.

@traceymcnamara: British Sea Power = Sausage Party. WTF?!

@panicmanual: British Sea Power : so good (but not as good as SXSW)

@kurpita: Trad to the core, crescendo after crescendo, wave after wave of gut inspired squealing chords, guitars wrenched into hype, British Sea Power

@imacgill: I think I sprained my finger. Wasn't paying attention to British Sea Power's guitarist at the end of their show. He stage dived on top of me

@albatross15: British Sea Power = Awesome. What a great show!

OMD Phoenix Concert Theatre Toronto March 05 2011 (Oh Land Openers)

OMD

26 years since their show at Maple Leaf Gardens opening for the Thompson Twins on New Years Eve and we see the return of OMD. Best concert of 2011 so far. I couldn't stop dancing or either could anyone else in the crowd. This is what they said:

@IKvsDK Just saw the concert of 2011 and I haven't stopped jumping #OMD #Winning

@tonyfelgueiras: Holy crow, OMD concert is so packed I can't even move from one foot out the bathroom doors exit

@Swi_zzle: Saw Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark tonight. The dancing! Omg...

@lindala1887: Oi! Old folks! #OMD was fab @ Phoenix tonight. Sounded just like they did in the 80s! We love you! Would die for you!

@AvitaniaInTO: #OMD = brilliant brilliant brilliant. I think I went all Justin Bieber fangirl during Electricity. Can I be Andy McCluskey when I grow up?

@Alphamoongirl: I think the last tine I saw as many awkward boy dance moves was at my high school CFNY roadshow dance party! #OMD #andymccluskey #daddancing

@criacow: OMD still has it. Just saw their first North American show in decades ("It's fitting we start here, since we started here 30 years ago")

@rebharath Tried to tell Pizzapizza guy about OMD #RogFail

Oh Land

No comments for the opener found on twitter but they did put on a good show. Here is the video of their first single which is a catchy track.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra

Nobody said anything.

@carlamaureen: Smith Westerns was perfect but short, they ran out of songs for encore.

@eggshmeg: Smith Westerns, no encore in Toronto? Shocking!

@davescrivener: Smith Westerns? Kinda douchebags.

@lyndall_m: Smith Westerns were good. Slow head bang

@dinealonemusic: At Smith Westerns in Toronto. By the looks of the crowd Pitchfork must love this band.

@panicmanual: judging by the crowd im guessing smith westerns don't sound anything like the smiths

@GenderConstruct: Should have worn suspenders to this Smith Westerns show
